All about fiction,non-fiction books & biographical books or reading. For English 101 essay paper.?

I am currently working on an essay 4 my English 101 class & I am writing on books. The "three mutually exclusive categories" that I am writing on are fiction, non-fiction, & biographical books. I am having a hard time rating the book on the public interest. Where they are used more & less at (like facilities or place)? And if possible any other additional imformation as far as web pages to collect data on my topic would be quit helpful. Thanks hope to hear something soon!!!

Look on the New York Times bestseller lists. They usually have separate categories for fiction and non-fiction. Then a list for total. You can show the public appeal of each type of book based on this list.
