I always wanted to write a family history book, but I hate the thought of all the typing. Would this program work for that, or is it to much to ask this program to do?

Yes. You do have to fine tune the settings though in order for it to be efficient. It takes time and proof reading. It has to learn your voice and you cannot have any background noise. It will get many words right and then somehow throw in words you didn't say. It is a good program even though I'm telling you a lot of the cons. It has obvious pros. It is capable of learning your voice quite accurately in due time and after that you can quickly dictate. It also is good practice for the person dictating to enunciate.
