Can anyone recommend a self publishing firm that can do a great job with photos that have been scanned and pho?

I'd like them to show up in my book as at least 4x6 and I do not want to have to shrink them or take them down in color. I'm having problems with self publishing. The cover looks great, but the inside pictures need to be better. Had problems with resolution.

Sure. Book publishers can do a full bleed rendition of your photos if you want. If you have actually considered self publishing, you would take into consideration the part where you can have full supervision of your book's interior and exterior design. You can consult with a layout artist of the overall effect of your photos and how they result to actual book form.
