Okay so... I'm writing a book at the moment. I've already decided what it will be about. I've tried a few times to write books so far, but I always give up after 10-15 pages. Can you give me some tips and skills please?

I think very few people can write an entire book from start to finish without getting discouraged, or wanting to stop after so many pages.
If you hit a wall, or its just not interesting to you anymore, stop and work on something else for awhile, go back to it when you get inspiration.
Or start from a different point in the book, you don't need to write from beginning to end. Write the most exciting parts to you first, you'll figure out how to connect it all later.
Another thing, think about and write down your character's personalities and looks before starting. Then you can get to know your characters, you know how they'll react to certain situations, etc. Might also give you ideas on how to better use them in the story.
Most of all, never give up! If something isn't working, don't scrap it!! Just come back to it later and improve upon it.
Hope this helps! Answer 2
I've never written a book myself but my bro in law has. I had a chat with him and he says to take it slow. Spend some time deciding on all your characters. Jot down their characteristics, quirks, and personality traits. Write down any ideas that come to you while your doing other things. Don't rush in to it, spend time getting your ideas and plots together and take things slow. Hope this helps you :) Answer 3

I myself am writing a book and find these tips helpful. Hope they help you too!!!
-DO NOT EDIT UNTIL YOUR DONE!!!
-Don`t make the characters too perfect. Make them normal.
-Do not make everything happen in the first chapter. Spread the fun out.
-Use descriptive words.
-Choose fun and unique names for the main protagonist.
-Use your first sentence to grab the audience. Say something like.... "Marlene stepped out into the cold wind and winced at the loud screams of pain behind her."
