Does anyone know of any fantasy/fiction literary agents?

I've gone through all of the mainstream ones, about 30 of them, but at some point it just seems like I've completely exhausted the market. I don't have the time or the resources to self-publish, and it's a hassle going straight to publishers, any tips?

Answer 2

When you say you have exhausted 30 of them, where did you get them from? Writer's Market? Go to the library and use Literary Marketplace in the reference section. That is the author's bible. MUCH more complete. Other than that, perhaps you need to do some rethinking. If 30 have said no, maybe you need to revamp some things about your story. You certainly need to revamp your query letter. Are you getting form rejections or personal comments? If so - take them to heart. Also, you may want to consider a smaller publisher and deal with them directly. Sometimes smaller publishers are "hungrier" than the top ten and more eager to take on a new client. You can always find an agent and make a better deal on the next book. Right now, you need to get some publishing credits under your belt. It may be worth the extra effort on your part. Pax-C
