Haha, thanks. That picture represents the climax of the novel. They book is primarily fantasy, intermixed with mystery, adventure, and a bit of action.

One: It looks cheap.
Two: I'm pretty sure that isn't a stock photo. Feel free to bite my head off if it is.
Three: 'Pending' and 'pendant' resemble each other closely. Say if a fast reader was reading it, he'd have to do a double take. It's up to you whether that's fine or not.
My advice it to work on your editing skills. The picture is blurry and the blue doesn't match. The height of the blue rectangles is unnecessary also. You see how much space there is between "The Tale of a Sorceress" and "The Pending Pendant"? You could cut that down a lot.

I have to be honest, I wouldn't pick it up. It's rather unfair of me, as I doubt that you have professional software, but it just doesn't appeal to me.
Also, I recognise the movie from which that still is taken from, which kind of ruins the magic a bit.
The cover, to me, doesn't really give away what sort of novel it would be. If the writing was not there, I think I would be clueless, as I don't think the picture really fits with it.
I think you should spend some time looking at some other book covers, especially those that are from books which are in the same genre as your own. I think you could get some pretty good inspiration.
