Hi i would like to write a childrens book. I have many ideas and i would like to write one and if i do reach my goal hopefully more. I would write it and my friend would do the illustration. How do i go about writing my own childrens book? please give detail And what i mean by the ? is how do i go about getting it published? Do i just write my book on my laptop and contact and book company??

First you write your book. Then you tell the story to some kids of the appropriate age. If they like it, you go back and polish it and then you give it to your friend to illustrate. To find out how to get it published, go to your library and look at Writer's Markets - it lists some 3,000+ publishers and gives contact and submission advice.

You can write it Microsoft 2010, I write but I am only 13 and I am very good at it (Well an author said I am) But you can start from anywhere in the book. Front, middle, or back. You can even, though this is recommended more, to plan ahead. Publishing depends on where you look and go. If you think you can do it by yourself, then there are many websites that will help you, but if you want professional help, this might take time to find a good website.
