How do you write a comic book synopsis?
All Answers To QuestionsAnswer 1
It depends on what you want to use the synopsis for.
The Gold Digger "Sacred Library" series went into a lot of detail, tracking plots and subplots as if it were a game quest log. The Perfect Memory series for Gold Digger and Ninja High School do a more traditional issue by issue synopsis as a reference. On the other hand, there's guides that give a few sentences to each issue of a comic, just a rough guide.
Do you want to include creator credits, publication date, and other "out of story" elements too?
Are you writing a review?
And so forth.
If you want to know how *I* write synopses, I generally don't anymore, sticking to spoiler-free reviews (see http://www.eyrie.org/~dvandom/Rants for examples). << GO BACK to questions
