How effective is ChristianManuscriptSubmissions.com? Christian Manuscript Submissions?
Does anyone have any personal experience or inside knowledge of the effectiveness of the online Christian Manuscript Submissions website to attract attention of publishers and literary agents (for my non-fiction sports book).

Hi there,
It seems to me that this is a reliable, trustworthy way of attracting agents. I don't know how effective it is as the only means of attracting attention, though.
Cheers

If you are writing a nonfictional book then in my opinion you can send it to non-religious sites, kind of a secular manuscript submissions sites. There is no harm in submitting your work to Christian manuscript submission sites, but here you may get reviews that will be little biased to religion. Let me explain this, you must have read in news papers that Pope Benedict the 16 slams Harry potter and its author for encouraging magic and wizard culture in children. So if you submit your work to these religiously biased sites, you might not get good reviews, as they often discourage people from writing fictional books. You might also not get the required attention, as theses Christian sites are not used by professional authors and publishers, the only reason I can say, is the issue of freedom of speech. If you want you can send your work to Pubmatch, here they don’t charge anything for manuscript submission, and most of the work is personally reviewed by international authors and publicists. Best of luck for your upcoming book! << GO BACK to questions
