Like do book publishers only deal with one client until they are done publishing that book or do they have multiple clients at a time?

Cierra, of course not. There are hundreds of books published every year. I'm sure you read a lot, so you can probably answer your own question. If each publisher only published one book a year then how many new books do you think you'd see on bookstore shelves? Too few.
