I am thinking of writing a non-fiction book dealing with medicine.?
How much and where should I go for authoritative information and research and do I need to quote both sides of an issue as with a news story? This would be a book. Are there any guidelines to writing a non-fiction using real research?

Mystery,
I have at least $300.00 worth of books published by Reader's Digest that are writing and research related. Your bookstore will have them in the writer's section. The Internet is also a good source for looking up medicines and their nature.
Research will be an important asset to you if you do decide to write this non-fiction book. Research, as a matter of fact, is a priority in anything we write for publication.
I wish you luck!
