A synopsis is simply a summary of the book kind of like a book report. It should not be more than about 750 words long and can be much shorter. Describe the plot and the characters and the climax of the books action.

wow you need to do it for school? thats a first. that book is probably the best book everr though, haha its the one by stephenie meyer right? well anyways heres a quick summary: 17-year old bella swan moves to forks, washington to live their with her father, chief of police charlie swan. at her new high school, she meets a beautiful, dazzling boy named edward cullen. his skin is as white as snow and cold like ice. one day, at her school, bella almost gets hit by a truck, but edward shields her from it and miraculously leaves a dent in the truck. she then begins to theorize that he is not human. they start to talk, and one night, while she is being stalked in Port angeles, she disocvers the truth: HE IS A VAMPIRE. yet edward (and the rest of his family) are not like other vampires. they dont hunt humans, for they wish to be "good". edward and bella's relationship then begins and they eventually fall in love with each other. then, one fine day, edward takes bella out with his vampire family to play baseball. they didnt expect a herd of nomadic vampires to come and find bella. james, leader of the herd, is a tracker (a vampire who can exquisitley follow the scent of anyone). he craves bella and causes the cullen family to be on the run from james. they hide bella in phoenix, arizona, yet james, being as clever as he is, tricks bella into coming to the dance studio near her mother's house. bella meets him there, gets injured from james, and, just as hes about to kill her, edward comes in to save bella. james is destroyed, and bella (even though shes injured) lives out the rest of her days with edward. i left out a lot of details but thats basically a summary of it all. =)
