Looking for "how to" books on writing fiction. (please I need some suggestions)?
Looking for how to book on writing fiction. More specifically I'm looking for books on how to build tension, suspense, and mood.
I feel becoming especially good in these 3 aspects is particularly important for me. So if you could recommend books on any of these subjects I'd appreciate. I'd also like it if the books were devoted mostly on these topics rather then be devoted on another topic and then have one or even all of these topics explained in only a chapter or two.
Thanks : )

The first link I shall give you is a place that I have found invaluable in helping me with my writing. It's a very active writing forum. There is useful information with regards to all aspects of writing on there. Everything you can think of to do with planning, writing, and publishing.

Then there are some writing books that have really helped me and I hope will be helpful to you if you choose to buy/read them. All of them are reasonably priced, you might be even be able to find some of them at your local library. And your library will definitely have a section with books for writers.

Anyway, good luck with your writing. Answer 4
I've always found that reading how to books makes me less original. Find your voice - you got this. << GO BACK to questions
