Just read books a lot. Learn some new words. Pratice writing. And write a book. It's a lot harder than people think. And it takes a long time and patience. Just take it slowly. Answer 2
There's really no subject that can't be adequately researched on the Internet.
And google.com is often the best place to start. But if you actually want to
get it published, then it can get difficult. A lot of people make big errors in
paying "vanity presses" to put their book into print: as much as $2,000 or
even upwards towards $2,500 for 1,000 copies of book; and then you're on
your own.
So research the (so-called) "self-publishing" market as well: one very legit
small press is Outskirts Press, located in Parker, Colorado. (Any of the
small presses will claim to help you with promotion & distribution, but not
all can do a good job of it; and many of them just want your money.) So,
for example, avoid Author House.
And be sure you don't put too much self-bias into your subject; because,
if you do, it's not "non-fiction," per se.
Good luck. << GO BACK to questions
