What are some good ideas for writing a christmas childrens book?

ive got this project and i want to write a childrens book and illustrate it. I want the story to be somehow related to christmas and i want it to involve some sort of moral to relay to the reader. Since its a childrens book it shouldnt be too long. I am having writers block. Any suggestions? I just want a basic idea of what it should be about

All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

donating toys to the poor and illustrate how happy the poor children are when they receive the toys.

Answer 2

well there could be something adventury, funny, or even mystery kids love that kind of stuff but like santa could go missing or something

Answer 3

Maybe instead of focusing on the characters in the story being excited about what they will receive for Christmas, let them be excited about what their giving for Christmas and what they can do for others. Maybe making Mom and Dad breakfast, or chores for siblings, etc...

Answer 4

They go on an adventure to find santa claus and along the way discover the true meaning of christmas through a sereis of events. At the end even though they might not have found santa claus they have learned that he was always there in their hearts. You can expand on this or edit your question with more details on what you want. Try illustrating and developing the charectors first, because when it comes to writing the story you will understand and have more of an insight on what they would do in differant situations. Hope i can help :)

Answer 5

hmm, maybe you should have some cover letters too and also need a couple unique illustrator, just take a look this, maybe good for your idea.... http://hotsearches.co.cc/christmasletter
