What book writing software do you use to write your books with?
I like to write books but i would like to start writing them in a real software. What do you use?
All Answers To QuestionsAnswer 1
What "software"? Use MS Word or Notepad. Answer 2
Microsoft Works Word Processor and Worthy of Publishing. Not really "software" at all. Answer 3
I use Microsoft Word.
You just need a word processor. No need to drop a bunch of money on some weird special software. Answer 4
If you already have Microsoft Word, that will serve your needs. If you don't, there's no need to pay for it. There are plenty of good free alternatives. I use OpenOffice (free download from www.openoffice.org).
I wouldn't bother with any of the programs that claim to help you write a novel. They tend to assume there's One True Way to write a novel - fine if that fits with how you write, but frustrating if it doesn't. Answer 5
Microsoft Word. It's 'real'. Answer 6
No software. I hand write most of my notes and then type an outline and eventually the manuscript on MS Word. << GO BACK to questions
