I have a friend who is shopping her manuscript about to get it published. As she knows I am an acomplished artist with an international reputation, she asked me to do the cover design. I have several graphic programs at my disposal, but not sure they are compatable with whatever the book printers use.

I want to create a book cover design using Adobe Photoshop, but I dont know the size of the template. I don't want to download anything.

Well, my AP 11 english class is compiling together a collection of essays to be published. The title of the book is called We Believe This. Basically, it's about what each student's beliefs are based on a topic. I'm stuck on how to design a cover for this book. My idea so far is to take photo of each person in my class and make a collage of two faces. This way everyone is included. What do you think? Other ideas would be appreciated!

I was given a short story to make a book cover for. The story is basically about this young girl's family, and the girl focuses on her parents. The parents are really light-hearted and playful. The girl gets into how the parents met and she said when the dad tells the story, he says he had get past a monster that was woman on top and lion on bottom before he met the mom. He said the lion liked to talk and play play guessing games. Every idea I tried to build on for this design isn't that great. I am so confused as to how to approach this. Does anyone have ideas?

I'm designing several book covers for a college project. They are on the the themes comedy or tragedy. I have to write a blurb on the back of each book cover and I'm wondering how I should do it. Should write the blurb myself, use a blurb from someone elses book, or use song lyrics? or anything else?
