There are three reasons that people become internet information marketers. The first is that they really want to share the information they have and they just stumble into it. The second is that they have a bricks and mortar version and while they were trying to improve sales they stumbled into internet marketing. The last reason is that they are hoping to make a business out of internet information marketing.

The one constant is that all three have discovered that they can make a profit from having an eBook business.

There are several ways that you can make a profit with an eBook business... and many of them do not involve writing eBooks. Here are seven ways you can make a profit with an eBook business.

1. You can write and publish your own eBooks. This is the traditional technique. Write your own books, then publish and market them usually through your own website. However, there are a number of booksellers now who will be happy to market your books themselves. And the numbers are increasing. In fact, one of the major trend analysis companies has indicated that they see eBooks replacing traditional books as the first publishing method within five to ten years.

2. You can publish other people's eBooks. There are a number of tasks involved in publishing a book. Even ignoring the writing of the eBook. There will always be people who are interested in writing eBooks but not in any of the other tasks. If you've published and marketed eBooks before why can't you do the same thing for others?

3. You can write eBooks for other publishers. The traditional publishing market has been based on this model for years. In fact, they've gone beyond this model into the contract writing model. As traditional publishers move into the eBook market they will bring their models with them. This is an opportunity for you.

4. You can write other people's eBooks. Not everybody can write an eBook. As much as I and other trainers like to pretend some people can't do it. Others don't want to do it. One of the markets is to serve these people by writing their eBook for them. In fact, this market has a name. It's called ghostwriting.

5. You can edit other people's eBooks. If you've done any amount of writing you've probably discovered one of the truths of writing. You can't fix your own mistakes. Bluntly your mind overwrites what is there with what should be there. There will always be a need for professional third party editors.

6. You can design and format other people's eBooks. One of the time wasters in producing an eBook ready for publication is designing and reformatting it. This is especially true of designing covers. Many writers are happy to let someone else do the cover design and internal reformatting for them.

7. You can design marketing campaigns for other people's eBooks. Write the book. Edit the book. Publish the book. Cool. But you still need to sell the book! Many new writers have no idea how to sell their books. Yes, they can use Amazon and other booksellers but books need to be marketed. Especially eBooks. You can create marketing campaigns to sell those books.
