LANDER MARKS debut novel starring D.J. Singer makes it's off-Strip debut to a group of literary fundraisers for the Brandeis University Library foundation dedicated to literacy and education.

Given the subject of Mrk's book, the organization could not have found a better opener for this year's event given the escalating auction prices of art and recent restitution of several major Nazi-looted masterpieces.

Marks donates a portion of the proceeds of her book sales to holocaust education projects.
