Lyam's Journal

By Alan Rogers

The smiling man who opened the door for you this morning was mimicking human behavior. Lyam Rogers has learned how to interact positively with people on a daily basis. He could be the person sitting next to you at the movies, your favorite co-worker, or your next door neighbor.

Lyam struggles to maintain a level of civility in order to conceal his true nature. When the veil is removed, it releases a degree of violence which cannot be contained.

Writing in his Journal allows Lyam the opportunity to drop the facade he wears like a suit, and gives readers a glimpse inside the mind of a sociopath. The Journal acts as a catharsis for his shadowed soul, and reveals a psychotic's world view.

Lyam's rambling discourse is disturbing, and yet some entries will make you laugh out loud.

How well do any of us know the person living next door?
